I love spamming Nolani with Wallpapery goodness!

Just so you guys know, usually when I post my pieces here I edit out the Non-GW related items. Most of my works (like the one below) have a Star Trek Element and a Stargate Element - the other big things I'm a fan of. I would have edited them out of this piece as well.. but it just would have looked empty and unbalanced that way.

I drew a lot of inspiration from the Star Wars: Episode III poster for this. But this is pretty much the image that's been floating around my noggin ever since I first started making photoshop wallpapers in what I like to call the movie poster style. The main hurdle was getting the lighted column effect right, I've never been able to do it before. But I got a Graphics tablet for Christmas, and I could do in about 3 minutes what I've been trying to do for the past 3+ years with a mouse.

To the left, for those that don't know, is the Enterprise E and a flight of F-302s from Stargate. The anonymous planet and moon just seemed to fit. At the right is my main character, Countess Reapera. If you've seen my other wallpapers you'll recognize her. Below is a tableau of all of my other characters in fighting stances (except my Monk, she's just dancing, and my Necro, who thought the whole thing was frivolous).

I apologize for hurting your eyes, Zen. I like making bright wallpapers.

And Zodiac - hehe, that's exactly what I thought would happen when I posted this with the Enterprise still in it. Though I still think that it would look unbalanced and empty if there wasn't something there. Thank you!

yeah, the enterprise is just out of place, lol. love the silhouettes though ;-) would be cooul if u could mirror the derv to the otherside. or put another char in a similar pose on the other side.

I agree that the Enterprise and the other spaceships definately seem out of place. I also agree that without it, it would look empty. Personally i dont like have things mirrored, so maybe put a cool skinned weapon(s), or maybe one of your own concepts if you do that kind of thing.

Indeed, no entreprise... but no mirroring either! worst thing you could do.. if you wanna stay in theme.. then put a para on the other side
